Pisces Mom Horoscope: May 7 – May 13
Your thirst for knowledge will be insatiable this week, Pisces, thanks to mental Mercury's tour through your third house of information and communication this week. From now until May 24, mama Pisces will feel more at home in the classroom, the book club discussion group, and in informational interviews than they will anywhere else. Look for ways to participate in your children's education, or if you home school, to mix up your children's educational routine with field trips to local museums, time spent in the wilds of a local park, or in meet-ups with other home-schooled kids in your community. And speaking of community—spending time out and about in your neighborhood will connect you with potential partners and future collaborators. Suddenly, that ambitious goal or hoped-for dream won't seem like a such a long shot, not with these helpful additions to Team Pisces!
While you're going from activity to activity this week (and chances are, you'll be doing more of that than normal), make sure your iPod is charged and you've got a glove box full of inspirational audio books. Take some time this week to catch up on the latest novels and current events, too—and encourage your kids and your hubby to do the same. Head to story-time at the library, an author's book-signing at the nearest bookstore (or even the one across town!), and dedicate some time at each dinner to talking about the wider world—not just your son's grade on his English test or your daughter's long-overdue science project. It's easy to exist in a bubble, Pisces (guilty as charged, here), but Mercury's movement is doing its best to push you in a different direction.
On Saturday, the quarter moon in Aquarius illuminates your twelfth house of healing and completion work, and you could feel the urge to drag all those unfinished projects out of the basement—or out of the files in your home office! It's a good idea now to power through these old tasks so that you're ready to focus on what's next. Go through your children's old clothes and toys, as well as your own closest, and prepare for a garage sale or a clothing swap with your fellow moms. And hey, the more room you create, the more you can fill it with something new!
And finally, Sunday is Mother's Day, a day devoted to celebrating all that you do for your family—and for what your mom and mother-in-law do for you. Pack a picnic and have your nearest and dearest meet in the park, or maybe even take a family bike ride. The more active you are today, the easier it will be for everyone to get along—and how's that for the perfect Mother's Day gift?
