Sagittarius Mom Horoscope: March 12 – March 18
Where is the love, Sagittarius? Mercury turns retrograde (backward) on Monday until April 4, and for the first twelve days of this cycle, it will be traveling through Aries, your fifth house of passion, romance, and creativity. If you haven’t been prioritizing your love life in the past few months, this Mercury retrograde comes as a reminder to get more playful, Sag. While there’s no mom on the planet that might be busier than you—or that wears as many hats—something’s gotta give, and no, it’s not your personal life. Put your work aside, have a nice dinner as a family, and then, get thee to the bedroom! Are there needs you have that aren’t being met? Talk seriously with your partner about the physical aspects of your relationship…no matter how shy it makes you or him feel. Single? If you’re a mom on the dating scene, don’t be surprised if you hear from a long-lost ex. Although it might sound like crazy-talk now, you could be tempted to give the relationship another shot, especially if he has an emotional connection to your kids. Tread carefully, and don’t make any firm decisions on this blast from the past until after Mercury returns to direct (forward) motion.
Bring art and creativity back into your life as well: dig out those oil pants from under the bed and finish that portrait you started months ago, sign both you AND your daughter up for piano lessons, or stage a few puppet shows or dress-games in your own living room. For bonus points, make cultural events a bigger part of you and your family’s life. Again, we know you’re a busy bee—but why should your children have to do without being exposed to your city’s symphony, opera house, and museums? Make the time.
Thanks to the “heavenly trine” created this week by three planets in earth signs, this week should prove extremely productive. You’ll feel motivated to get things done and do the hard work necessary to achieve some of your long-term goals. For moms interested in going back to work, or for those of you who are already in the business-world, you might be presented with an opportunity that you just can’t refuse. Look over the fine print (and maybe even have a third-party read over any documents), and if it all checks out, go for it! This is your chance to shine.
