I am the founder of Motherhood Later….Than Sooner, a community/resource for those parenting later in life. We have in-person chapters that host events, online communities and a social networking presence.

Our website, http://www.MotherhoodLater.com, features news of later moms, interviews with later moms (including celebrities), a shop, discussion forum and blogs by later moms, including myself.

Our mission is to connect, empower and inform those who became a mom at 35+, whether for the first time or again. When I became a mom at 42, I often felt like the oldest mom in the playground, and yearned for a source of parental support where age was an asset not an issue. We also hear from aspiring later moms.

I am also the author of HOW TO MEET A MENSCH IN NY and HOW TO MARRY A MENSCH (decent person), and work as a Love Coach for singles.
My son is now 7, and I work from home in Great Neck, NY.
