Bounce Dryer Bar Simplifies Laundry
A product that promises to deliver one less thing to think about when it comes to laundry? Sign me up! With five very active kids ages seven and under, we do a LOT of laundry. So anything that makes the task easier and/or less time consuming is automatically added to my “must try” list.
I was really excited to hear about the new Bounce Dryer Bar that boasts the slogan: “Stick it and forget it!” It really is that easy. You simply peel the paper backing off the holder, stick it firmly inside the dryer drum, and enjoy fresh, soft, static-free clothing for up to two months.
The product performed exactly as intended by the manufacturer for our family, other than lasting for two months; however, that’s to be expected with the frequency that we use our dryer. I loved how clean and soft our clothing felt, and I was happy that it didn’t leave any spotty residue on the fabric as I’ve noticed liquid fabrics softeners have a tendency to do.
A couple of tips for getting the most out of your Bounce Dryer Bar:
-- If you notice your Bounce Dryer Bar is wearing unevenly, remove the cartridge and insert it in the other direction. If you do this periodically, it will keep the wear uniform.
-- I know many people don’t like to use fabric softener on towels because it reduces absorbency, so just slip the cartridge out when you’re drying your towels, and replace it when you have a load of clothes.
Are there any drawbacks to the Bounce Dryer Bar? The only drawback that I found is that you cannot currently purchase refills of the product, so you end up with an extra holder every time you refill the bar. This seems like a waste of resources and packaging, so hopefully Bounce has plans to offer refill packages in the future, because I’d really like to keep using this product.
