How I'm Surviving Summer Without Losing My Mind
Believe it or not, my children have already been out of school for nearly a month. This week, it hit 100 degrees here in Texas. So needless to say, I am already knee-deep in the trenches of summer boredom. When it is too hot to head outside to play, things get tricky. Especially with a bored ten year old and one very active two year old.
Spending every day at the neighborhood pool is one way to cool off, but our routine suffers along with our hair, of course. I must confess that our TV is on more than I'd prefer these days. So it is time for me to get back on track. I need a summer survival makeover!
