Family fun night is back with Pictionary for the uDraw GameTablet®. You've heard that Justin Timberlake brings sexy back? Well the uDraw GameTablet® brings family time back.
We are and always have been a board game type of family. However, setting up the games take a good 15 minutes, and by the time we do that the kids have moved on to something else and we end up begging them to play (15 minutes for nothing?!) - it just doesn't end well.
However, since we've started playing Pictionary on the uDraw GameTablet® all of that has changed. This version of the game takes a grand total of a minute to set up - so the kids don't lose interest before we even have the chance to get started!
It has also inadvertently helped us to teach lessons about cheating - since the Pictionary game requires a bit of the honor system with revealing the word or phrase - and we've had a few peekers, if you know what I mean.
Overall, it leads to lots of nice, fun, family bonding time. Remember that? This gaming console has really given our household a much-needed dose of it - and we intend to keep it going!
Of course, we've also had to deal with a bit of tug-o-war. Our son wants to play Marvel Super Hero Squad 24/7 and our daughter wants to paint and color - she's actually pretty good at it, too! Also, I mention this in the video but our kids are at the age where they are really working to develop their fine motor skills, and the uDraw GameTablet® has really been helpful with that because they are more willing to sit down and work on a project or play a game for extended periods of time - really helping to build those muscles.
Check out my video review above, with a cute cameo by my daughter, and be sure to check out the uDraw GameTablet® for the Holidays!
