Fool's Toffee is Fun Party Food!

Here’s a quick and easy dessert that’s a real crowd-pleaser.  It’s inexpensive to make and you might not even need a trip to the market because it’s made with items you probably already have in your pantry.

Many of you may recognize this recipe as Fool’s Toffee.  It’s been around forever and I can picture Moms in the 70′s serving it up at pot luck parties in pantsuits and pouffed hair.   It’s not one of your healthier recipes, but for times when you want to indulge this is perfect. I tasted it for the first time 2 weeks ago and knew I had to share it with you here.  I was at a party with about 50 people and this dessert was getting all the attention.   I even spied my ‘non-dessert-eating’  husband with one in his hand a few times throughout the party.
