Girls Night (In) Recommendation: "The Client List"

The economy is bad and providing for your family is getting harder these days, but how far would you go to do it?

Samantha Horton went farther than most and in desperation turned to what she felt was her only asset, her looks, to support her family.  Her shocking true story is told in the Lifetime Original Movie “The Client List”, with Jennifer Love Hewitt and Cybill Shepherd.

I was lucky enough to preview the movie with my mother-in-law, sister and 2 girl friends before its airing this coming Monday, July 19th at 9/8c.  After viewing it, everyone agreed that “The Client List”  was thought provoking and well worth the watch.  While we all know we would never go as far as Samantha Horton, we felt the movie was a real eye opener and a reality check for us.  Where do you draw the line?  How much do you need and what would you be willing to do to get it, as a Mother!  The cast was great:  Jennifer Love Hewitt was perfect as Samantha and Cybill Shepherd’s role as her mother was a standout with great lines that made us belly laugh!   See the video below for comments from the ladies!

Host your own movie night party and invite some girl friends in next Monday, Monday – July 19th at 9/8c, to watch “The Client List”.  My tip: For a modern movie treat, try an oaky chardonnay and some butter popcorn – it’s a great pairing!
