Zakiyyah's Challenge. She Did It And So Can You!

It was meant to be. You know that feeling when you get goosebumps or when your hair stands up? Well I look like Don King right now so it’s a definite that I’ve got that feeling. During the 2010 Clean Start Challenge I have been teamed up with finalist Zakiyyah Clark Johnson. My charge has been to mentor, motivate and help make the most of this opportunity for Zakiyyah.

One after another this mother achieved her goals. Zakiyyah’s wins during this challenge actually came from her losses. She endeavored to lose weight so that she could fit into her wedding dress before her June nuptials. Her gown is definitely going to need some alterations because she lost 15 pounds. Along with losing 2.5 dress sizes she lost the need for sugar laden beverages and gained a love for working out.

With some smart money habits she was able to lose some bad debt including paying her car note off. She stopped losing herself to busy days by retreating to her personal sanctuary to recharge. Zakiyyah followed my D.I.E.T. plan with great success. She Detoxed, built her Inner Income, Exercised and was Tenacious throughout the Challenge.

I love Zakiyyah’s name. So I decided to find out what it meant. Can you believe the heart of its meaning is clean? It’s derived from the word “zakiy” meaning pure or clean. So I’m back to those goosebumps I was telling you about.  So it was meant to be. Zakiyyah was meant to be a part of the Clean Start Challenge. Her name is in the title. Our biggest competition is frequently ourselves.

Zakiyyah helped to train the trainer. I have learned that it is meant to be not just for Zakiyyah but for us all. We are meant to fulfill our goals and to live our best life.
